Our Street

We may not live on a typical American street, in a typical American neighborhood, or in a typical American house. Yes, we do have guardshacks but no, we don't have sidewalks or streetlamps.

However, on any given day you can see a group of kids playing roller hockey, or children playing in the courtyard on their bikes or scooters. You can see people walking their dogs, big and small.

If you take a walk through the different courts in our compound you may find basketball hoops, a jumprope, or ball. You may see a woman out gardening or a man washing the family car.

We may not live in America, but China really isn't that different after all.
