The Queen's Birthday Ball

So much fun!  We attended the Queen's Birthday Ball last night.  The theme was the British Seaside and it was amazing.  This ball ranks right up at the top of our list of Best Balls we've attended while in Asia.  Every little detail was just right and it made for a wonderful night.  Of course we were with friends which made the night even more magical.  Enjoy the pics below.

Mark with his white salesman shoes.  The guys at work bought these for Mark as a gag gift.  They laugh about him being able to sell anything to anyone.  So just for fun, he put them on for a pic.

Cocktails!  This is everyone waiting to go into the Ballroom.  The theme for the evening is kept secret until the ballroom doors open.  As you can see it was a large event.  There were over 500 people.
The ballroom decorations.  Ice cream cone centerpieces, the wait staff dressed as carnival workers, cabanas lined up on one side of the room.
They had taffy and peppermint sticks on the table, along with other boardwalk favorites.  One thing about these balls is that you don't go home empty handed.  The ladies all received a Chanel gift bag with lipstick and lipgloss, and the men received a bottle of Scotch.

The band performing a few nostalgic songs before dinner.

Once again, personalized ice sculptures.  This time a shovel and pale.  Cute!!
For dessert....paradise apple, a raspberry cupcake, and a strawberry sundae.
Mark and our friend Kristin.  Kristin also works for GM.  Mark actually worked with her in MI and TN.  Her family has been her for 3 years now and they are heading home this month.
Everyone having a good time.  But yes, that is a nun on the dance floor.
Me and Minah.  This is Mark's admin at work that helps us out with way more than we could ever expect.  She is super sweet.
More dancing.  The man in the red jacket is actually Morgan's T-Ball coach.  He is here in Seoul, working for the Canadian Embassy.

Morgan's Last T-Ball Session

Morgan finished up T-Ball on Saturday with a game and Pizza Party!  We arrived to school early and the girls were able to play on the play ground for a few minutes before things got started.

Little Parrot

So it's no secret that Molly is quite the little parrot.  But here are some funny things she's "parroted" lately.

Molly was at the top of the playground equipment and Mark was telling her to be careful.  I told Mark "She can do it, Dear!"  Molly proudly repeated, "I do it, Dear!"

It was time for the girls to go to bed and Mark was on the computer.  I said "Come on Mark!"  and Molly repeated "Mark! Come on!"

Morgan does NOT like this little trait of her sisters.  Molly is constantly repeating any and all things I say to Morgan.  I say "Morgan, let's go!", and Molly repeats it word for word.

Too cute!

Playing Around

On Tuesdays, Molly and I typically drive Morgan to school and then hang out for about 1 hour before her Kindermusik class which takes place at school.  We usually stop by the coffee shop.  (There is one right at school.)  Then we head to the playground.  Here are some cute pics of Molly playing today.

"I see you!"
She really knows how to work her eyes.  This is my "Wild Child"
"Can't catch me!"

Kindermusik

Here are some pictures from Molly's last Kindermusik class.  She really loves it and has grown so much from our first session.

Pajama Day

Monday was pajama day at school for Morgan.  She was so excited for this and had been looking forward to it all weekend long.  She thought it was hysterical when I woke her up and said "Take off your pajamas and put your pajamas on!"  Too fun!

(Don't ask about the sparkly headband on her head.  She insists on wearing it!)

Rice & Kim

Morgan's favorite snack has turned into her favorite meal.  Last night for dinner she asked to have rice & Kim.  Today for lunch she had leftover rice & Kim.  Here she is showing you how to make this favorite meal of hers.  Molly enjoys it too!

Molly's First Birthday Party

Molly attended her first birthday party today.  She was so excited to go!  Today is Lucas' 3rd B-day!  She and Lucas meet up at the park during the week.  They swing and slide together.  They sing songs and have a great time.  Molly has referred to Lucas as her boyfriend and Lucas has called Molly his girlfriend.  How cute!

Today was a small gathering at Lucas' house.  The kids basically played outside in the garden.  Morgan and a couple of the older girls went swimming, but the water was freezing.  It was a fun morning and Molly really had a great time.

Molly giving Lucas his present.  She colored a cute card for him, but was hesitant to give it to him.  She wanted it for herself.
Lucas testing out his gift from Molls.  A soft bat, mitt and balls.  He had a pretty good swing on him.
Molly and I playing in the garden.
Molly enjoying "Fairy Bread".  This is an Australian party treat.  White bread with butter and sprinkles.  The kids LOVE it!!!!
