Seaweed. OK

Once again our girls are proving they've been in Asia long enough to pick up on some unique delicacies.  Morgan LOVES seaweed, or Kim as its known here in Seoul.  I never thought I'd see the day when I'd be buying seaweed snack packs at the grocery store.  It is often served at school for the kids that buy school lunch.  Morgan brings lunch from home, but has no problem "stealing" the kim off of the plates of the kids that are out sick.  Molly eats almost anything, but has a strong preference for rice.  You can put anything with rice and its gone.

Tonight we were having a typical American meal.  Grilled chicken, broccoli, and rice.  The only thing the girls were interested in was the rice.  Morgan asked to have some kim, and so the girls had rice and seaweed for dinner.  Oh well.  We're just happy they are trying something new.

This little story reminded me of the time I went to Yuka's house after school and her mom gave us seaweed & diet pepsi as a snack. All I realy wanted was milk & a cookie! :)
