Okay then...

Molly threw quite the tantrum this evening, and it was all Mark or I could do not to laugh.  She was very tired.  In fact, both girls were.  We picked Morgan up at school today after the nurse called saying she had a high fever.  She wasn't complaining of anything else, but the fever was definitely there.  Between Morgan being sick and Molly having a short nap, the girls were on edge.  After several arguments, I decided to put both girls in the tub early.  And then it began.  The mother of all tantrums that Molly has ever had.

She had taken a Barbie in the tub with her.  The girls have about 15 Barbies between the two of them and each one has its own name.  This one in particular is named Teressa.  When she got out of the tub, Molly wanted Teressa to stay wrapped up in her towel with her to stay warm.  This part was cute.  How sweet of her to think of her doll and want her to stay warm and dry.  However, it all went down hill when Mark and I were both trying to get Molly into her PJ's.  She wouldn't let go of the towel, or the doll.  She started crying and wailing on and on about Teressa, "in there", "warm".

We tried getting PJ's for Teressa, but Molly said "NO".  We tried to get Teressa her own towel, but Molly said "NO".  Eventually I had to force Molly into her PJ's, then wrap her and Teressa back in the damp towel.  Even then Molly was still so irrational.  The tantrum went on for about 20 minutes.  It all ended with the promise of dinner.  The girls both went to bed early tonight, and you better believe Molly is sleeping with her Teressa.
