Molls had her first day of preschool today. She was so excited to go. She picked out her dress and was anxious to get her backpack on. We arrived to school a little early and settled in quickly and easily. Molly wanted me to stay but I told her that school was for little kids, no mamas aloud. So she gave me a hug and I was off.
When I returned to pick her up at noon, she was sitting with the group having a light snack. They had just come in from being outside and they were all quiet. It took Molly a few minutes to notice me, but as soon as she did she wanted me to sit by her. I joined her and the class on the carpet for a final story before dismissal.
After class, Miss Lee told me that Molly had a great first day. "She owned the place!" She followed directions and completed her work. I am soooooooo P-R-O-U-D!!!! She is the youngest in the class. Most of the children are already 3. But she settled in no problem.
Molly chattered all the way home and told me about her day. She is anxious to get back to school on Friday!!!! Yay Molly!!!!

Aww, she is just adorable!
Oh my!!! Where is the baby I saw this past summer? I guess she isn't anymore! What a little social bug....speaking of bugs, does her back-pack match her dress? It looked like a little strawberry on her back...hmmmm! Very sweet.
