Korean Folk Village

We had beautiful weather today and decided to get out and enjoy it.  We took a trip to a Koran Folk Village.  For those of you in MI, think Korean version of Greenfield Village.  We all had a fun day and it was a great learning experience.  I think I'll have to go back late spring to see it again once everything has greened up around here.

Warning...I got a little carried away with the pics.  Enjoy!

Molly checking out the map.
The girls!
Molly is such a Daddy's Girl.
Nancy with a Farmer's wife.
Fresh buds and flowers on the trees.
Spring has sprung!
Dried chili peppers

Molly "balancing" this clay jug full of water.
Plowing the fields.
Check out this cow's harness.  Right through the nose.  Ow!

Bamboo baskets and wares.
Workers in the bamboo workshop.
Clay Kimchi Pots.  These are almost as tall as Molly.
Molly was so excited to see the goat.  Until the goat sneezed on her....3 times.
Silk Spinning
Woman spinning silk.
Typical farm setting.
This was a really pretty garden area.
We're not sure what the cloths in the tree mean, but thought they were pretty.

"This is a traditional single-log bridge.  Take care the drop and watch out your step, please."

"Husband for sale.  W7,000 Korean Won.  Includes the hat."
