Melbourne Cup

What a fun time!  AND...I WON!!!  I've never been to any type of horse race, let alone gambled on any.  I was really clueless about it all.  Never the less, I forked over some cash for the Sweep and I WON!  It was very exciting.  The race lasted all of two minutes and was pretty intense.  My table of neighbors bid on a horse that was leading for about 1/2 of the race.  

Lunch was fabulous, the hats were outrageous, and it was a really great time.  I ended up swapping hats with someone.  Its not the best, but I'll be better prepared next year.
