Shanghai with Mom & Dad

We had so much fun in Shanghai! Mom & Dad could quickly see why we enjoyed living there, even for only a short time. We enjoyed the shopping, food and sightseeing. The weather was decent, except for one day of rain. We made the best of it and enjoyed our 3 day stay before heading off to Beijing!!!

Shanana Massage Club
I just loved the name. But these Massage Clubs are all over the city. A great place to have a massage at super cheap prices any time of day.
Our hotel is the tall building on the left.
That's Mom on the bottom right.

Mom & I went to church at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Literally a walk around the corner from our hotel. It was a really nice mass, with good music. We had to chuckle though at their Christmas decorations. Paper Santa's were hanging everywhere.

Enjoy traditional dumplings at Din Tai Fung.
I was so proud of Mom & Dad and their chopstick abilities.

Our old Shanghai home!
*Sigh*

Shopping at the Fabric Market

Dad made friends with all the shopkeepers.
Of course!!

Famous dumplings
People stand in long lines for these. Just not us.

I love the contrast in this picture between "Old Shanghai" and the new modern city.
