Morgan's Last Jazz Class

Morgan had her last Jazz Class this week.  The parents were able to watch and take pictures.  I was happy that the girls learned an actual "dance routine" this time.  Here are some pictures.  I'll post video in a different post.

Molly's New Favorite Saying....

"That's so weird!!!"

Tuesday, May 19, 2009

Wow!

I'm not sure if you remember back to the first part of 2009 when Morgan was doing some fundraising at her school.  This is when she was explaining to me about sending the money up to North Korea and it sounded more like a sermon than an explanation.  Well the school just posted the total money earned and it was nearly $4 million dollars!!!!!  Wow!  I'm so proud to know that our little Morgan was a part of such a BIG number.

Molly - Potty Training Update

So our Super Duper Pooper is still doing good with the potty training.  She sits and goes on the potty several times a day.  I can't tell you the last time she had a "messy" diaper.  But she's not quite ready for Big Girl Panties yet.

Just this week she had finished her breakfast and had a wet diaper.  I was ready to change her clothes.  She sat on the potty and went pee.  I put real panties on her under her clothes.  Not 5 minutes later she wet her pants.  OK!  I change her bottoms and put real panties on her again.  15 minutes later, she wet her pants again.  OK!  Diaper it is.

So, no pressure.  Our little girl is just 2 and there is no real rush for her to be completely trained.  We'll just keep on doing what we're doing for now.

ANZA Ball - I See Red

Mark and I attended the Australia New Zealand Association's Ball on Saturday night.  The theme was "I See Red".  Everyone was decked out in red.  Some from head to toe.  It was a really fun night and we had a great time with our friends.  Here are some pics from the evening:

Seaweed. OK

Once again our girls are proving they've been in Asia long enough to pick up on some unique delicacies.  Morgan LOVES seaweed, or Kim as its known here in Seoul.  I never thought I'd see the day when I'd be buying seaweed snack packs at the grocery store.  It is often served at school for the kids that buy school lunch.  Morgan brings lunch from home, but has no problem "stealing" the kim off of the plates of the kids that are out sick.  Molly eats almost anything, but has a strong preference for rice.  You can put anything with rice and its gone.

Tonight we were having a typical American meal.  Grilled chicken, broccoli, and rice.  The only thing the girls were interested in was the rice.  Morgan asked to have some kim, and so the girls had rice and seaweed for dinner.  Oh well.  We're just happy they are trying something new.
